Challenge
Our customer needed a product to improve the screening and hiring of sales candidates so that the salespeople hired by a company would possess the same levels of competencies as the top performers in that company. The desired result was to save hiring and training dollars, increase revenue, and improve retention.
Actions
FullView Solutions created a valid and reliable applicant screening measure that assesses a candidate’s competencies, social styles and sales styles, and provides managers with candidate profiles that help determine who to interview. Assessments and reports are delivered via our web-based Measure to Manage framework.
Result
This assessment provided managers with reports that gave detailed information about the competencies, social styles and sales styles of the candidates, suggested interview questions that managers could ask candidates to verify specific findings, and offered management tips should the candidate be hired. A shorter version of the report was requested for use in the classroom that presents a subset of the competencies and styles, and enables individuals to focus on specific areas during the training period.
